Faith is the force that gives life to every word, to every belief that we store in our mind.

Don Miguel Ruiz shares an Inspiration Daily. As I read the inspiring message, I think about what it means to me, and share it here.

Faith is the force that gives life to every word, to every belief that we store in our mind.

A few synonyms for Faith are Trust, Reliance, Conviction and Belief. From the synonyms themselves, we can see the power of faith. When we have faith, we place our energy into that belief that holds our faith. During the Pandemic, which had power over individual choices as to where to place their faith, we had an opportunity to discover hidden beliefs: whether to be inoculated, whether to wear a mask, whether to attend largely populated events, or shelter at home? At the same time, we can grow in the awareness of our beliefs.

By reviewing our actions, especially under pressure, we can uncover our beliefs. We may ask ourselves; do we trust science for determining our decisions? Science is the art of discovery; therefore, science is not an absolute until all discovery is complete. Do we place our trust in a Deity? If we do, we may ask ourselves why a Deity allowed the Pandemic to manifest in the first place? We may ask ourselves why there is so much negativity about inoculations? Are all inoculations the same?

When we ask ourselves these questions, we can uncover beliefs created long ago, alive in the subconscious, determining our choices for years hence. We can shed light on our beliefs making different choices that reflect our faith in the present. From my observation, we often don’t know what we believe until we are confronted with a new situation. Then we have an opportunity to uncover the truth, through gathering information and wisdom from the heart and creating a new agreement about what we believe in the present.
